3 weeks before
Book your packers and movers and lock the date. Start decluttering room by room — anything you have not used in a year is a candidate to sell, donate or discard. Every extra carton adds cost.
2 weeks before
Inform your society office and confirm lift and parking permissions at both addresses; many Bhopal societies restrict shifting hours. Transfer or close local subscriptions, gas connection and internet.
1 week before

Moving day
